Pennsylvania State Statutes Regulating Debt Collection / Debt Collectors

Pennsylvania is the only state that does not publish its code online.  You might be able to locate the code at your local library.  The statute affecting debt collection is Title 73, Chapter 42 (73 P.S. § 2270.1)  The Pennsylvania Attorney General's office does publish an online debt collection guide that summarizes state law.  It can be found at
http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/consumers.aspx?id=244
