WAGE GARNISHMENT EXEMPTION:  50 times the federal minimum hourly wage (all future wages are exempt)

MAXIMUM INTEREST RATE:  Judgment: 7.6% 

STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS ON ENFORCEMENT:

Open Account (credit card): 3 years
Written Contract: 3 years
Domestic Judgment: 20 years
Foreign Judgment: 20 years

BAD CHECK LAW DAMAGES:  Amount of check, interest, court costs, reasonable collection costs and $10 per day up to $50

NEW HAMPSHIRE BANKRUPTCY PROPERTY EXEMPTIONS (New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated):

The State of New Hampshire has exempted the property and income below from seizure by the bankruptcy court to pay creditors:

Real Property:  Real property or mobile home if located on land owned by debtor up to $30,000 [480:1] 
Personal Property:  Furniture up to $3,500 [511:2(III)]; beds, bedding, and cooking utensils, amount needed [511:2(II)], clothing, amount needed [511:2(1)]; food and fuel up to $400 [511:2(VI)]; stove, heating equipment, refrigerator, unlimited amount [511:2(IV)]; automobile to $4,000 [511:2(XVI)]; jewelry up to $500 [511:2(XVII)]; bibles and books to $800 [511:2(VIII)]; sewing machine, unlimited amount [511:2(V)]; burial place, lot or church pew, unlimited amount [511:2(XIV)]; tools of trade up to $5,000 [511.2(IX)]; uniforms, arms and equipment required for military, unlimited amount [511.2(VII)]; one cow, six sheep and fleece, four tons of hay [512:2(XI) and (XII)]; fowl up to $300 total value [511:2(XIII)]; one already slaughtered pork [511:2(X)]; proceeds for lost or destroyed exempt property up to exemption amount [512:21(VIII)]; yoke of oxen or horse if needed for farming [511:2(XII)]
